Colour your way to the Barrie Fair!

How to Enter

Open to children age 12 and under!

1. Download and print one of the official colouring pages (below).

2. Have your child colour their masterpiece.

3. Take a clear photo of the finished artwork.

4. Post the photo publicly on Facebook or Instagram.

5. Tag both Barrie Fair and the Essa & District Agriculture Society so we can find your entry.

Please include the artist’s first name and age in your post.

🏆 Three winners will each receive a family pass to the 2026 Barrie Fair, valid for general admission on one day from August 27–30, 2026. Amusement rides are not included.

Important: Your post must be public and both organizations must be tagged for the entry to be eligible.

2026 Barrie Fair Colouring Contest Rules

1. Eligibility: The contest is open to children age 12 and under. A parent or legal guardian must submit the entry on the child’s behalf.

2. How to enter:

   • Download and print one of the official Barrie Fair colouring pages.

   • Have your child colour the picture.

   • Take a clear photo of the completed artwork.

   • Post the photo publicly on Facebook or Instagram.

   • Tag both the Barrie Fair and the Essa & District Agriculture Society.

   • Include the child’s first name and age in the post.

3. Entry deadline: Entries must be posted by the deadline stated in the official contest announcement. The post must be public and both organizations must be tagged so the entry can be found and verified.

4. Original work: The colouring must be completed by the child named in the entry. Digital colouring, AI-generated entries and previously published work are not eligible.

5. Judging: Entries will be judged on creativity, use of colour, effort and overall presentation. The decisions of the Essa & District Agriculture Society are final.

6. Prizes: Three winners will each receive one family pass to the 2026 Barrie Fair. Each pass is valid for general admission on a single day of the Fair, August 27–30, 2026. Amusement rides are not included. Prizes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged or transferred.

7. Winner notification: Winners will be announced through the official Barrie Fair Facebook and Instagram pages. The Essa & District Agriculture Society will contact each winner through the social media account used to submit the entry.

8. Permission to share: By entering, the child’s parent or legal guardian gives the Essa & District Agriculture Society permission to share the submitted artwork, along with the child’s first name and age, on its social media channels, website and promotional materials.

9. Privacy: Please do not include the child’s last name, address, phone number or other private information in the public post.

10. General conditions: Entries that are incomplete, inappropriate, submitted late or do not follow these rules may be disqualified. The Essa & District Agriculture Society may modify, suspend or cancel the contest if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.

11. Facebook and Instagram disclaimer: This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram. By entering, participants and their parents or legal guardians release Facebook and Instagram from responsibility related to the contest.
